Building a Rock Garden
Have you heard of it? Even if you didn’t know much about plants, you still can make a nice and wonderful garden at your house. If you have a water conservancy problem or are never home to maintain a garden, but still want color, consider building a rock garden. If you already have a garden, you can fill up a bad space by building it. Here are some steps that recommended.
You can start by collecting rocks from all the places you visits. You can create an incredible rock garden and before you place each new rock you should label them with a permanent magic marker on the bottom of each rock. You will remember where they all come from this way. If you want your garden more beautiful, try to collect stones with different colors as much as possible.
If you want to have a great watching time at your rock garden, you may want add a small water treatment fountain or water ball. Should you happen to live by a good stream or a river and decide to take rocks from the river or stream beds make sure you are not violating any EPA laws. You need to decide if you want to have your rock garden have elevation in some parts of it and if you do then a pile of sand will be a good base for creating “rises” or “hills”. If you are working with sandstone remember sandstone crumbles with time. Taller rocks go in the center or in the back depending on your design. Your rock garden only requires little maintenance and also being a memory garden.
